Fun with Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma & Grandpa West took the kids not only our 3 but Devin's friend too since it was his birthday to thier company party. They all had a blast. Thanks for the fun time!

Football Season

Flag football that is... I have never seen anything more entertaining than 1st 2nd & 3rd graders playing football. Devin had his first game last thursday, it was great! Mouthpieces going in and out constantly the Jerseys are cool His team is the Jaguars. I'm facinated with the flags and I feel like I have a lot to learn but it sure is fun watching. Saturday September 19th We celebrated Devin's 7th Birthday

Wow where has the time gone? It seems like he was barely born and today we met with his first grade teacher at parent teacher conference. It seems he just learned to walk and now he is practicing plays for his football game on thursday. He has achieved so many accomplishments in his short seven years and we are so proud of him and love him more than he will ever know.

Thank you to all of you who joined us for Devin's Birthday Luau and we missed those of you who couldn't make it.

It's growing!

We just had an incredible rain storm and afterward the boys told me "Look Mom, the rain made the grass grow!" There is a green hue across the entire backyard. We are all thrilled and cannot wait to enjoy it with more than just our eyes.

Labor Day

Grace was just being cute, like always so I couldn't help snap a shot of that grubby mug.

Below is the some of the rewards from all those little seeds I planted in my basement early this spring, it is just amazing how teeny little seeds can grow in to a large fruitful garden. I am extra proud of this salsa because it was my first time making it, Thanks for the recipe Paulette, it's delicious!

We had a great labor day weekend, first off we got our grass planted, Hooray! Now lets just hope it grows :) Then we got a bunch of things we have been needing to do for a while done.

Devin and I went to the New Castle Dale Pool (way fun) for a school party on friday for finishing his summer packet(good job son we are very proud of you) we decided the whole family should come, so we did and had a blast. Sorry there are no pictures, my bad.
