Ever heard of Budgies???

We added two little parakeets to our family just recently. The response of those we've told have been interesting, We'll just have to see how well they fit in. So far they are so shy we worried they didn't dare eat or get off thier perch but now they have treated us to some lovely bird song and they've been caught eating the blackberries and bannanas we gave them. Isaac has the most interest in them and they seem to really like him, they even got on his finger. Grace wants to touch so bad but they are very scared still especially of someone so little and unpridictable. Actually they don't like me any more than her. Ryan also got one on his finger. They are going to be fun anyway!

Isaac is 6!

Happy Birthday My sweet boy! I love you Isaac. This past year has gone by so fast and you've grown so much. Kindergarten is so fun and I am so happy to see you learning and growing. You are a such a special part of our family. Your kind and giving personality brings much peace into our home and for that I am so grateful. You love animals just like your mama and you are so good with them. We had a party at the wave pool before school got out for Christmas break, that was fun, very humid though and hard to get good pictures. We are lucky to have such great families here in Elmo with good friends for our kids. We had another family party for him closer to his actual birthday, We celebrated all month with Christmas Ryan's birthday Jared's birthday and Isaac's birthday. I think I've gained 25 lbs. Yikes good thing new years and a new start is just around the corner.

Devin's Christmas Program

We enjoyed attending Devin's 2nd grade Christmas program and getting to be part of his class party. They all done such a good job and we are very proud of Devin for memorizing all three of his parts. Santa came to the school and let every child have a turn on his lap, what a great guy!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! I cannot believe how fast it came and am sad that it is over already. Here are some pictures, from Christmas morning! Devin & Isaac got snow tubes and Gracie got a Pram, they were all very excited. Isaac also got some zibbits little r/c robots that go on a track and Devin got a microscope, its been fun playing with thier toys with them.

We spent Christmas Eve at my Mom's but I failed to take any pictures. It was nice we had dinner from her brand new kitchen (so beautiful) and opened gifts after reading the Christmas story from the bible. At about 11am we went to Ryan's Mom & Dads and Paulette had some delicious potatoes and ham and treats to eat after opening gifts. It was great to be with family.
